Welcome to today’s “It’s Masculine Monday” card 🙂
Like you I am always on the hunt for a great, simple guy card. I am so pleased with the look of this card. It took very little time and supplies and I think it just screams “It’s Masculine Monday”
I used the new Crazy about You Stamp Set and Hello You Thinlits Dies bundle and the Adventure Bound DSP all of which can be found in the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. By the way, if you are interested in ordering items from the Occasions Catalog remember, the sales period ends on June 2, 2015. So, hurry, hurry, hurry!!
I really want the happy to be elevated above the card surface so I die cut four of them with my Big Shot out of the Early Espresso card stock and glued them together. Then I die cut a piece of tan fun foam and glued it to the Early Espresso “happy” finally, I applied Crystal Effects to make it shiny.
As you can see, taking time to apply the Crystal Effects and elevating the “happy” with fun foam really helps the over all image to pop right off the card. I am LOVIN the look!!
I do hope you will give this card a try. I have never used fun foam like this and will definitely do it again. Oh, in case you were wondering, I just picked up the fun foam at my local JoAnn’s.
