Don’t you love the bright cheerful colors on my Painted Poppies Birthday Wishes card? As you know, I absolutely love to color, and I especially enjoy coloring with the SU Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. The blending technique with alcohol markers is so easy and the results can be fabulous.
The new Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder adds such great detail to the front of my card. You might also note that I’ve cut around the poppy on the inside edge of the card. It is such a small touch, providing beautiful results.
In particular, I love the soft Old Olive color blending at the base of the poppies. I used the Craft Ink Blending Brushes, set of 5, from Amazon. I have always had difficulty with sponges and sponge daubers. The sponging was always blotchy and not as clean and smooth as I would have liked. However, with the Craft Ink Brushes, the results are just what I’ve always wanted. All and all, I am so pleased with the look of my Painted Poppies Birthday Wishes card. I do hope you will give it a try!!
