Sometimes we want a quick and easy Christmas card; especially if you are making a lot of them. This card takes no time to create, yet I love its simplicity. I used the Encore Silver Metallic Ink to stamp the “Merry Christmas” At the bottom of this post, I have included a link to Amazon, so you can easily purchase the stamp pad and refill.

I love creating Christmas Cards. I decided to make a card celebrating the birth of Christ and how we should feel because of His birth. I am very happy with how this card turned out and am pleased how the simple sentiment “Rejoice” brings everything into focus.
What do you think about turning the banner on an angle?
Adding Mary and Joseph on their trek to Bethlehem helps to remind us of the “true meaning of Christmas”. I hope you like my card!

We are now entering my favorite time of year. I LOVE the holidays! The only thing I do not like is how quickly they come and go. My goodness, one day it’s Halloween and the next it’s February. Another thing that I love about the holidays is making Christmas cards.
This set is an amazing example of Stampin’ Up!’s new line of stamps called “DistINKtive”. The stamps are made using a special patent pending process to create beautiful photorealistic results. You can view all of the stamps in the DistINKtive line by clicking this link.
As you can see, in this close-up view, I applied the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter to the poinsettia and leaves that I fussy cut. You might also notice the layer of Black Foil paper. I love how the shine of the foil paper repeats the shine of the poinsettia and leaves. Overall, this is such an elegant Christmas card.
Adding another poinsettia to the inside of the card really ties it to the front and completes the overall design.
Cutting Instructions: Basic Black cardstock 4-1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5-1/2; Whisper White cardstock 3-1/8 x 3-1/8; Black Foil Sheet 3 x 3; Whisper White cardstock 2-3/4 x 2-3/4; Whisper White cardstock 4 x 5-1/4 (2) one for stamping the poinsettia and two sets of leaves, one for the inside of the card.

I love how this card turned out!! Who would have thought you could make a poinsettia out of the two leaf stamps? Here are a couple of great things about this Christmas card: easy to stamp and you can add a spiritual or a secular message to it.
Can you see how awesome the petals look with a little Wink of Stella added? Love it!!! I colored the small pearls with my dark Daffodil Delight Blends marker.
