Do you love to create beautiful one-of-a-kind Christmas Cards? If so, this Christmas Season Christmas card is perfect for you! You can see the Christmas Season bundle in my online store or click the product photo link towards the bottom of this post.
Did you notice the thin Gold Metallic Speciality Paper strip between the Evening Evergreen card base and the Basic White card front? It adds such a nice touch of sparkle to the card!
I love the combination of stamped and die-cut images. Each additional layer adds dimension and interest to the card. It also never hurts to brush on a bit of Wink of Stella to the holly berries.
Repeating stamped images and Gold Metallic Speciality Paper on the inside of the card adds to this card’s overall beauty and professional look. I hope you are inspired by my Christmas Season Christmas card and create one of your own. I know your family and friends will love receiving it this Holiday Season!

I am using the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing folder for today’s Christmas card; it is part of the Merriest Moments Bundle. You can see it in my online store or click the product photo link towards the bottom of this post.
Are you wondering, “what exactly is a” hybrid embossing folder? A hybrid embossing folder allows you to emboss and die-cut in one easy step. The Merriest Moments bundle contains a stamp set, coordinating dies, and a hybrid embossing folder. You can use the dies or the folder separately or combine them for a fantastic embossed, die-cut image.
Oh my goodness. . .this is so gorgeous!
I used the larger outline die to provide a shadow or base to the more delicate embossed die-cut in my second card. Whether you choose to add the poinsettia and leaves to your card or just the sentiment, I think you are going to fall in love with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing folder and stamp set bundle!
Cutting Details:
Thick Basic White (card base) — 4-1/4 x 11; score and fold at 5-1/2
Evening Evergreen (1st layer) — 4-1/4 x 5-1/2; emboss and die-cut
Basic White (2nd layer) — 2-1/4 x 3; die-cut and stamp “Thinking of you…” sentiment
Basic White (3rd layer) — scraps; stamp and die-cut four leaves and two poinsettias

Well, I’m finally jumping on board the Pinwheel Tower card bandwagon and making my own Penguin Place Christmas Pinwheel Tower card. I’ve made several different pinwheel tower cards but hesitated to make a blog post or, heaven forbid, a YouTube video. So, today’s the day. I hope you enjoy the journey!
If you have not seen a pinwheel tower card and are wondering, “what the heck is that?” It is a card that consists of a “tower” and four panels and fits into any size envelope. My Penguin Place Christmas Pinwheel Tower card fits perfectly in a 5 x 7 (A7) envelope. Be sure to watch my video below for cardstock measurements based on envelope size.
The Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper (DSP) is available as a FREE GIFT CHOICE with your $50 online Stampin’ Up! order through 30 September 2021. It is not for sale…so grab a pack while you can!
We start our pinwheel card journey with my first panel. I don’t know about you, but who doesn’t love a big old polar bear with a cheerful blue scarf and a Wonderful Snowflake behind him? Especially one sharing a “Friends like you make this season special” message. The Fresh Freesia Penguin Playmates DSP was die-cut with the Stitched So Sweetly die.
I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies on the Just Jade and Basic White cardstock to highlight my sentiment. I stamped the snowflakes with Balmy Blue ink, the trees with Just Jade ink, and the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. They are such an excellent background for the fussy-cut fox.
Oh my gosh! Nothing says “Let’s Celebrate” like two adorable, fun-filled penguins surrounded by colorful packages. I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut the Balmy Blue and snowflake-covered Basic White cardstocks.

This final panel reveals the all-important Merry Christmas sentiment with ample space to write your message. I know that a special person in your life would love to receive this Penguin Place Christmas Pinwheel Tower card!

Do you struggle with masculine cards? My most requested cards are masculine birthday cards. So, today I’m bringing you two, yes two, masculine Beauty of Friendship birthday cards.
I love how the repetition of images and textures can enhance your cards. For a very subtle touch, I used the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder on the Basic White cardstock. Additionally, I cut a 1-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of Soft Succulent cardstock and stamped it repeatedly with Soft Succulent ink, cut it into three 1/2 inch pieces, and applied them to the card front. Finally, with Wink of Stella on their wings, the two birds add just the right pop of color.
I added some visual interest on my second card with a die-cut oval, a scalloped edge made with the Penned Flowers die, three Matte Black dots, and a strip of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP). All of these items help to highlight the tree focal image. Sometimes, it is the little thing that helps bring everything together into one cohesive card. As a result, I’m sure your special fella would love to receive either one of these Beauty of Friendship birthday cards!
